Dr. Frederick Erbiceanu was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. He graduated from the Honours Pure and Applied Sciences program at John Abbott College in 2002 where he developed a passion for molecular biology and biochemistry. This love for biology led him to the University of Toronto where, in 2005, he obtained, with Honours, his bachelor’s degree in biology. During the university years Dr. Erbiceanu fostered an interest in clinical research, culminating in a master’s degree in laboratory medicine and pathobiology from the University of Toronto in 2007. The experience gained during his graduate studies helped in procuring indispensable skills that he continues to carry with him today and which, whimsically, led to his decision to become a dentist. In 2011, Dr. Erbiceanu obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. In addition to general dentistry at Jane Clair Dental, Dr Erbiceanu offers implants, gum grafting and invisalign services and continues to participate regularly in seminars and conferences to keep up to date with the latest dental technology. His principle is to make sure all his patients receive optimal dental care and are fully informed about all options when treatment is needed.
Dr Erbiceanu is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, Ontario Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral implantologists and a fellow of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.
In his spare time, Dr Erbiceanu enjoys cooking, reading, painting and fitness.
